"Last year I was at my wits end with my dogs barking at every little noise, running all over the couch, jumping on people and having potty accidents in the house. There were some moments where I seriously regretted getting TWO dachshund puppies at the same time. I sent one of my puppies to a 4 week bootcamp with another dog trainer when she was 12 weeks old, and when she came back the only command she knew was sit. I felt really taken advantage of and had a bad taste in my mouth from dog training boot camps. Then was referred to Barkley and Co from a friend who recently used them for their puppy and I thought I would give it one last ditch effort (and I’m so glad I did). I sent both my puppies there for basic obedience training and when they came back they were completely different dogs. I was blown away. Kaydee and Drew kept me updated by sending pictures and status updates. The lessons they taught my dog are invaluable and we use their training every day. We are much happier now that we don’t feel helpless about the dogs constantly barking, and not listening. You can tell they are dog lovers and it’s not just a job for them. We still use them from time-to-time for pet sitting and when my dogs see them they go nuts! You can tell my dogs really enjoy spending time with them and that is the best part. "Like a lot of puppies, our Knox was very rambunctious but we had extra issues as he was eating the landscape rocks in our backyard. After having surgery we went in search of help.
Drew and Kaydee came highly recommended by a friend. We took Knox to visit with them and to see their facility. We loved what we saw so decided on their 2 week puppy package.
We were sent daily updates and photos of Knox’ progress which helped to put us at ease.
When we got our pup back he was practically unrecognizable. He was crate trained and able to execute basic commands like sit, down, stay, come and my favorite, leave it which we used to make him immediately drop rocks or anything else he picked up that he shouldn’t.
