Which One is Right for You?
Is my dog too old to be trained? Is it too early to start my puppy in a training program? Will they remember me when they get back?

These are the questions we hear constantly at Barkley & Co. We can easily assure you that we have yet to see a dog, no matter the age or length of program, who isn't ecstatic to see their owners after camp.
​
We also have not met a dog too old to be worked with. Yes, if you have a senior pup, we will be working more on behavior management than new commands, but basic obedience training can be taught to any age group, changing their life and yours!
If you're getting a new puppy, we are here to assure you that teaching good behaviors from the beginning is much easier to maintain than breaking bad habits. That's why we love to start puppies right at 8 weeks old. Then you don't have to sweat the potty training either!
Primary Puppy Camp

Advanced Puppy Camp
7 Weeks
In addition to mastering everything in the Primary Puppy Program (please reference above), your new family member will also learn the following:
Mastering Of:
Stay in Place
Come When Called
Socialization with Other Dogs (due to vaccine completion)
Exceptional House & Yard Manners
Field Trips (the store or park for example)
Swimming Lessons (seasonal)
Grooming Practice

*Note: With the Advanced Puppy Program, your pup masters all commands included. This puts a great deal less work on you at home. If you intend to take your new dog out in public often or simply do not have time to work with them as frequently at home, we strongly suggest the Advanced Puppy Program.

Adult Training Camp
4-6 Weeks
We love to work with older dogs! It doesn't matter if your pup is 6 months or 9 years - we have seen basic obedience training change so many lives.

*Please note: We cannot guarantee your dog's fear, anxiety, aggression, or potty training issues will ever go away 100%, though they usually are vastly overcome with training. We can, however, teach your dog the appropriate confidence, impulse control, and training structure required to address these common issues.
As with all training programs, it is contractually expected for you to work with your dog on what is taught to them at camp. If you do, it is almost certain that you will see vast improvement in your dog's disagreeable tendencies.
